Readition turns a Markdown document into four editorial reading editions while keeping documents, marks, and comments on your device.
Open a document
- Choose a
.mdor.txtfile from Files. - Open a compatible Markdown file from another app’s share menu.
- Tap Paste in Readition to import clipboard text intentionally.
Change the reading edition
Open a document and use the edition control to switch between Front Page, Gallery, Library, and Field Notes. Marks and comments stay attached to the same semantic paragraph when you switch editions.
Export or share
Use the reader menu and choose Export. Readition supports original Markdown, annotated Markdown, styled HTML, and PDF through the standard iOS share sheet.
Sound is too quiet or silent
Check the device volume and silent-mode settings, then choose a soundscape and tap Resume if it is paused. The sounds are intentionally soft, vocal-free, and generated locally.

Include your iOS version, Readition version, and a short description of the issue. Do not attach private documents unless you are comfortable sharing them.
